Continuing to Bloom

On February 14, 2022 Erika Rich, founder and CEO of the BloomFoundation.gives lost her courageous three-year battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. In the 7 months since her death her family and friends have been figuring out how to live life without her and looking for ways for her legacy to live on.   

We knew that when the time came BloomFoudation.gives would continue to support Erika’s vision and the mission to “Make Breast Cancer fun and provide resources for overall wellness;mind;body;spirit.”  Erika found incredible joy when she was traveling, whether it was a trip to her family’s beach house, visiting friends or traveling across the world to places like Turkey.  She found traveling to be a comforting reset to her mind, body and spirit. 

To continue to support Erika’s vision and to help other women find their joy during a difficult time in their lives, Bloomfoundation.gives will begin to provide other women with Breast Cancer the opportunity to travel. We will continue to support research to fund treatments for Metastatic Breast Cancer, as well as exploring the possibility of a scholarship fund at Erika’s college alma mater, Wittenberg University.
